The Global Deaf Muslim Federation is a global organisation working to ensure equal rights for deaf muslims around the world.
Collaborating closely with Muslim organizations in order to facilitate the provision of comprehensive Sign Language services that are both accessible and inclusive for the deaf members of the Ummah. Additionally, we are committed to assisting deaf Muslim national organizations in acquiring the essential training and skills necessary for their growth and development through robust capacity-building initiatives.

Advocating for advancement and inclusion of Deaf Muslims in the Muslim Ummah
Information about Islam is seldom available in sign language making it difficult to educate Deaf Muslims about Islam and for individuals to conduct their own research. The lack of accessible materials and the systematic exclusion of Deaf Muslims from Masjids and Islamic organisations was identified by GDMF as a growing problem that they needed to address. Our mission extends beyond borders, as we are steadfastly committed to raising widespread awareness about the multifaceted issues faced by Deaf Muslims on an international scale, while also endeavoring to bring about positive change and meaningful solutions to these challenges.
