Our Mission, Our Vision and Our Purpose
The Global Deaf Muslim Federation is a global organisation working to ensure equal rights for deaf muslims around the world.
Global Deaf Muslim (GDM) Now Global Deaf Muslim Federation (GDMF), Is A Non-Profit, Tax Exempt Organization Established In 2005 By Deaf Muslim Graduates To Address The Rights And Needs Of Deaf Muslims Across The Global Ummah. Furthermore, the membership of our organization comprises Associate Members, International Members, Individual Members, and encompasses two distinct categories of Youth Members. Majority Of Its Board Consists Of Deaf Muslims Who Have Experience Of What It Means To Be A Deaf Muslim Without Access To Islamic Information In Their Mother Tongue, Sign Language.
For Deaf Muslims, accessing Islamic information has always been a challenge.
Our mission extends beyond borders, as we are steadfastly committed to raising widespread awareness about the multifaceted issues faced by Deaf Muslims on an international scale, while also endeavoring to bring about positive change and meaningful solutions to these challenges.
