Our Mission, Our Vision and Our Purpose

The Global Deaf Muslim Federation is a global organisation working to ensure equal rights for deaf muslims around the world.

Our Story

The Global Deaf Muslim Federation (GDMF) traces its roots to a visionary group of individuals who recognized the unique challenges faced by Deaf Muslims around the world. Founded in 2005, GDMF emerged as a response to the pressing need for an international organization dedicated to advocating for the rights, well-being, and inclusion of Deaf individuals within the Muslim Ummah.

Over the years, GDMF has evolved into a dynamic global network, bringing together Deaf Muslims, allies, and advocates from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Its growth and impact have been driven by a steadfast commitment to fostering understanding and acceptance of Deaf culture, promoting equitable opportunities, and advocating for accessible communication within the Muslim community.
