Deaf people in Palestine are currently enduring a life with no access to electricity to see, no water to drink, and no food to eat.
The Global Deaf Muslim Federation is a global organisation working to ensure equal rights for deaf muslims around the world.
And we will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth, lives, and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient. (Quran 2:155)
Abu Dharr narrated that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) of Allah said:
“Your smiling in the face of your brother is charity; commanding good and forbidding evil is charity; your giving directions to a man lost in the land is charity for you. Your seeing for a man with bad sight is a charity for you; your removal of a rock, a thorn, or a bone from the road is a charity for you. Your pouring what remains from your bucket into the bucket of your brother is charity for you.”
And in this, our little sisters, who, in the face of extreme difficulties, still smile and gather strength to express appreciation for small gifts,.
So far, your donations have helped the deaf Gazans get by. We have given $8,500 to the Deaf Community in Gaza to provide food and other life-saving necessities, for which $7500 out of $15,000 has been raised.
Our on-ground volunteers risked their lives going from tents to tents in Gaza to deliver your support, and we thank them for making sure that our deaf brothers and sisters, including the children, can still smile and breathe. We ask you to please support this cause so we don’t stop sending funds to get them the most life-saving food items.
